If Named Successor, Spagnuolo Could Stay

Giants general manager Jerry Reese said Monday that the team would consider making Steve Spagnuolo their "head coach-in-waiting" if it would keep him from leaving.
Spagnuolo, the team's defensive coordinator, is being courted by the Jets and Lions for their head coaching vacancies.
Tom Coughlin's contract ends in 2011, when the current coach will be 65.
"We consider everything here," Reese said. "We try to consider everything."
