The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced that this week's preseason finale against Washington has been moved up to Wednesday due to the threat of severe weather.

The game was scheduled to be played on Thursday, but Tropical Depression Nine could have been a factor.

"This decision was made by both teams in conjunction with the National Football League and local authorities in an effort to ensure the safety of our fans, players and stadium staff," the Buccaneers said in a statement.

Bryan Stork has failed his physical with Washington, the latest in a lengthy drama.

The New England Patriots told Stork last week that he would be cut, but Washington worked out a deal for the veteran center for a conditional draft pick before he hit the open market.

Stork has dealt with concussion issues and rumors swirled that he might retire rather than report to Washington.

Washington will get its conditional draft pick back from New England.

Washington is looking for depth along the defensive line and will reportedly work out Cullen Jenkins.

Jenkins, 35, played all 16 games for the New York Giants last season.

Josh Norman will work for FOX Sports this season, a decision he made without asking the Washington Redskins for permission.

Norman defended the decision, saying that his segments will be filmed during his time off.

"It's my off time. I can do whatever I choose," the cornerback said.

Jay Gruden wasn't aware of Norman's second job, saying "that's the first, uh, I have no idea what you're talking about" when a reporter asked him about it.
