Gerald McCoy is upset the Tampa Bay Buccaneers gave his No. 93 away so quickly to Ndamukong Suh after releasing him.

McCoy also feels disrespected by the lack of communication he had with the team's new coaching staff.

The Buccaneers released McCoy last month after nine seasons.

"I'm one of the best players to ever play in the organization. I'm going to say it -- usually I wouldn't, but I'm going to say it. It kind of shows the respect and how they feel about me," he said on FS1's "The Undisputed."

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hired Bruce Arians as their new head coach in January.

His backfield includes Andre Ellington, Peyton Barber and Ronald Jones and he's content with the group.

"I like our backfield. I think it's [an] OK backfield. There's not a David Johnson or a Todd Gurley. But you don't need one," Arians said.

Arians added that he doesn't think the Buccaneers should "overpay for that position."

The Carolina Panthers have agreed to sign Gerald McCoy.

McCoy and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers parted ways this offseason.
