DeSean Jackson Says He'd Like To Play For Rams

Jan 30, 2019 3:59 PM

DeSean Jackson, who is still under contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for another season, says he'd love to join the Los Angeles Rams.

Jackson made the comments when it was suggested on the Simms and Lefkoe Podcast that he could join the San Francisco 49ers.

"I don't know about Frisco, man. State tax is crazy, man," the receiver said. "That is home too though. I don't know. ... If anything, I would like to kind of end up in L.A., being a Ram. Sean McVay, you know, we got some connection from when I was in D.C., but we'll see how it plays out, man. Right now, I got another year in Tampa. So we'll see how it plays out, man."

Jackson, 32 is currently the oldest receiver on Tampa Bay's roster by seven years.

Bruce Arians Sees Too Much 'Diva' In Antonio Brown

Jan 16, 2019 8:24 AM

Bruce Arians, who was the offensive coordinator of the Pittsburgh Steelers when Antonio Brown was a rookie, doesn't like what he's seeing in the wide receiver.

Arians has been hired as the new coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"There's too much miscommunication, too much ... diva," Arians said on The Adam Schefter Podcast. "I've heard so many stories -- I like Antonio -- he plays as hard as anybody on Sunday, and he practices hard. He's just gotta make better decisions off the field, be on time, do some of those little things."

Arians said Brown isn't the same person that entered the NFL in 2010.

"He was the hardest working," Arians said. "He and Emmanuel Sanders, boy they went after it because [Steelers head coach] Mike Tomlin used to tell them, 'Two dogs, one bone.' And at that time, we had Mike Wallace, Hines Ward -- I mean, we had a pretty good run for one of them to get on the field. By the end of the season, they were both winning for us to go to the Super Bowl."

Bruce Arians Says Buccaneers Will Be 'Built Around' Jameis Winston

Jan 10, 2019 8:37 AM

Bruce Arians, the new head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has a great deal of belief in Jameis Winston.

"His willingness to work is unbelievable," Arians said. "He's in the office at 5 o'clock in the morning. I have no qualms about that. There's no doubt. The whole thing is going to be built around him."

Winston is entering the final year of his rookie contract. He's had an up-and-down career with the Buccaneers and some off-field distractions.

"I've known him for a long time," Arians said. "We all make mistakes. He's made his. I've made mine. I feel like I've got a great feel for him, his excitement for the game."
