The San Francisco 49ers have received trade interest in C.J. Beathard ahead of the deadline.
Beathard performed well as a starter for the 49ers last season with Jimmy Garoppolo out with a torn ACL.

Emmanuel Sanders is getting used to his new team after the San Francisco 49ers acquired him in a trade with the Denver Broncos earlier this week.
Sanders goes from the two-win Broncos to the undefeated 49ers.
"It feels good [to be here]," he said. "Obviously, I've got a lot of love for the Broncos. I spent six years there, won a Super Bowl there and I love that organization. But to be a 49er, it's like a new energy and new environment. It reminds me of when I left the Steelers and went to the Broncos.
"I needed a change of scenery, and it feels good to have a change of scenery. And what a great locker room the 49ers have here. I'm just trying to come in and bring even more positive energy and bring another spark to this offense."
Sanders met with John Elway after a Week 6 win against the Tennessee Titans and they mutually agreed it was time for the receiver to move on.
"Me and John had a conversation in terms of the direction that I wanted to go and me expressing that," Sanders said. "He listened. And hearing that, hearing the trade rumors, I think we both decided that it was best for me to go. You know, we got two more years left -- or three more years left -- of playing football, and I'm trying to win a championship, and obviously, we've got a young locker room over there. So we both made the decision that if a trade comes about, that he would keep me posted and possibly trade me."
The San Francisco 49ers have acquired Emmanuel Sanders and a fifth round pick from the Denver Broncos for third and fourth round picks.
The 49ers also had interest in trading for Mohamed Sanu before the Atlanta Falcons dealt him to the New England Patriots.
The San Francisco 49ers are 5-0 after winning just four games last season.
Over the last two weeks, the 49ers' defense has allowed just 10 points and 345 total yards in wins over the Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Rams.
"I'm very happy with how we played," Shanahan said. "We're 5-0, which is a great thing, but we're not playing our best ball. We can do a lot of things better than that. It seemed like our defense played at an extremely high level, obviously minus the first drive. We can continue to get better on offense. We can continue to get better on special teams. I also think our defense is just getting started, too."
Only the New England Patriots are allowing fewer yards per game than the 49ers.
Richard Sherman claimed after Monday Night Football that Baker Mayfield refused to shake his hand at midfield during the pregame coin toss.
However, video evidence suggests otherwise.
One video shows Mayfield clearly embracing multiple San Francisco 49ers captains, including George Kittle. It also shows the Cleveland Browns quarterback shaking DeForest Buckner's hand.
There is also a grainy video that appears to show Mayfield and Sherman shaking hands.
Richard Sherman says Baker Mayfield refused to shake hands during the coin toss before Monday night's Cleveland Browns-San Francisco 49ers game.
"What's amazing, and annoying, was him not shaking hands at the beginning," Sherman said. "That's some college s---. It's ridiculous. We're all trying to get psyched up, but shaking hands with your opponent -- that's NFL etiquette. And when you pull bush league stuff, that's disrespectful to the game. And believe me, that's gonna get us fired up."
The 49ers routed the Browns 31-3. Sherman got some payback when he intercepted Mayfield on Cleveland's second offensive possession.
"Respect the game," Sherman said. "You can have rivals, but pay your respect in that moment -- especially when you're young.
"He hasn't earned anything in this league. How many games has he won? He's acting like he was the MVP last year. If (Patrick) Mahomes did that, it would be one thing. But he would never do that, because he has too much respect for the game.
"And when you see a guy who doesn't? You humble him every chance you get. Because eventually, he will have respect for the league -- or he'll be out of it."
NBC has decided not to flex the Week 6 game between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers to Sunday Night Football.
NBC will instead keep the Los Angeles Chargers hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Rams lost last week to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and play at the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5. The undefeated 49ers host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday Night Football.
