Bears Acquire Dontrelle Inman From Chargers

Oct 25, 2017 3:23 PM

The Chicago Bears have traded a conditional seventh round pick in 2018 to the Los Angeles Chargers for wide receiver Dontrelle Inman.

Inman, 28, has appeared in just four games this season with two receptions for 9 yards. Last season, Inman caught 58 passes for 810 yards and four touchdowns.

The Bears, who lost top receiver Cameron Meredith for the season in August, are in need of help at wide receiver as, other than Kendall Wright, the team's production at the position has been slim.

Chargers Not Yet Discussing Return To San Diego

Oct 3, 2017 12:13 PM

With the Chargers struggling to fill their small stadium in Los Angeles, there has been speculation about the possibility of them moving back to San Diego.

"There is no discussion of returning to San Diego from the league or the club," said Joe Lockhart.

Fans in Los Angeles appeared to strongly prefer the Raiders and Rams over the Chargers before their relocation.

The Chargers are currently scheduled to move into the Rams' new stadium in Inglewood.

Jason Peters: Chargers Playing 16 Road Games

Oct 2, 2017 12:53 PM

The Los Angeles Chargers have played three straight games at the StubHub Center, their temporary home, but have lost all of them.

They are selling well in L.A., but a good chunk of the seats have been filled by opposing fans early this season. On Sunday, there were plenty of Philadelphia Eagles fans in the stands and Carson Wentz never had to use a silent count on offense.

"I mean, it's almost like the Chargers got 16 away games," Eagles tackle Jason Peters told reporters. "It's going to be tough sledding for those guys."

Peters said it felt "like a home game" for the Eagles, who won 26-24.
