Max Starks has signed a one-year contract with the San Diego Chargers.

Starks will likely become the Chargers' starting left tackle to protect Philip Rivers' blind slide.

Starks spent the last five seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Manti Te'o attended the Maxim Hot 100 party in Hollywood to honor his fake girlfriend Lennay Kekua.

Kekua was ranked No. 69 on the list.

Maxim's editor-in-chief, Dan Bova, said he was "pleasantly surprised" that Te'o made an appearance.

"It seems like he has a good sense of humor about the whole thing," Bova said, via Yahoo! Sports, "which I think is the best way to handle a situation like that."

The San Diego Chargers have signed Dwight Freeney to a two-year deal worth $8.75 million.

Freeney had been looking for a contract similar to the one Osi Umenyiora signed earlier in the offseason with the Atlanta Falcons.

The Chargers run the 3-4 defense as their base while Freeney has played his entire career as a 4-3 defensive end.

Melvin Ingram has suffered a torn ACL.

Ingram was a first round pick by the San Diego Chargers in the 2012 NFL Draft.

The San Diego Chargers have signed undrafted quarterback Mike Hermann.

Hermann played at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he led the Engineers in rushing yardage each of the past three seasons.

Hermann is now the fourth quarterback on the Chargers' roster.
