L.T. Reaches 100 TD's Faster Than Any Player In NFL History

LaDainian Tomlinson, San Diego's remarkable running back scored four times and reached 100 touchdowns faster than any player in NFL history Sunday night, leading the Chargers past the Broncos 35-27. Tomlinson, who has scored an NFL-record 19 touchdowns in his last six games, reached 100 TDs in his 89th game, four fewer than it took Hall of Famer Jim Brown and Emmitt Smith. He now has 102 TDs and also topped 1,000 yards rushing for the sixth straight season.

Chargers Add OT Roman Oben To Active Roster

The San Diego Chargers have added offensive tackle Roman Oben to the active roster from the ?Physically Unable to Perform? list. Oben spent the first 10 weeks of the 2006 season on the PUP list while recovering from offseason foot surgery. He started the first eight games of the 2005 season at left tackle before injuring his foot. To make room on the active roster for Oben, the Chargers waived strong safety Andre Lott. The Chargers have also signed wide receiver Ricky Bryant to the team?s practice squad.

Chargers Add McKinney

The San Diego Chargers signed rookie defensive tackle Brandon McKinney to the active roster Saturday. McKinney has been a member of the team?s practice squad since the start of the season. The 6-2, 324 rookie was originally signed as a free agent from Michigan State. McKinney fills the vacancy on the roster left by the four-game suspension of linebacker Shawne Merriman.

San Diego's Godfrey To Hold Off Retirement?

Randall Godfrey originally planned to make 2005 his final season but reconsidered after his sister was killed last November. ?I thought this would be it, but I'm just not going to say it,? said Godfrey. ?I'm not looking that far ahead yet,? said Godfrey, 33. ?I'm just taking it one year at a time. I don't mention retirement now. I'm having fun and football's a medicine, really, for me now, because I love being around the guys. It keeps my mind off a lot of stuff.?
