Ben Roethlisberger Ready For 'Normalcy' After 'Crazy' Years

Jun 17, 2019 8:25 AM

Ben Roethlisberger is ready for some "normalcy" with the Pittsburgh Steelers after a few dramatic seasons.

"You know it's been a little crazy the last few years, maybe more so than usual that we're used to dealing with," Roethlisberger said. "So to kind of get back to quote-unquote normalcy is kind of nice."

All members of the Steelers showed up for mandatory minicamp this spring, something that didn't happen when Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell were on the roster.

JuJu Smith-Schuster Has 'No Hard Feelings' Toward Antonio Brown

Jun 13, 2019 11:15 AM

JuJu Smith-Schuster is disappointed with how things ended with Antonio Brown and says he has "no hard feelings" toward his former teammate.

Smith-Schuster is opening his first minicamp as the No. 1 receiving option for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"The man's a role model. In that situation, I didn't want it to end like that," Smith-Schuster said. "I have no hard feelings against him. Obviously if we're ever in the same room, I'm going to say 'What's up' to him. I think hatred is a huge word to use against somebody. At the end of the day, he's a great player, he comes out every day with work ethic. He worked hard. Other than that, I don't have anything toward him like that."

Brown demanded a trade shortly after leaving the Steelers in Week 17.

"I never want to be the center of attention for causing problems," Smith-Schuster said. "I just try to stay positive as much as possible. When stuff like that goes sideways, I say what I say and then I back out and leave it at that."
