The Steelers signed free-agent center Justin Hartwig to a two-year contract on Tuesday, according to WPXI in Pittsburgh.
The monetary terms of the deal were not released.
Hartwig spent the last two seasons of his seven-year career with the Panthers and was originally a sixth-round draft pick of the Titans (2002).

Steelers' wide receiver Cedrick Wilson was charged with assaulting his estranged girlfriend at a suburban Pittsburgh restaurant Wednesday night, as reported by the Associated Press.
Wilson entered the Patron Mexican Grill in Pine Township shortly before 8 p.m. and saw Lindsey Paulat sitting at the bar, according to a criminal complaint filed by Northern Regional Police.

Free-agent defensive back Eugene Wilson visited with the Steelers on Tuesday, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Pittsburgh was Wilson's second stop, and he left without a contract.
He already met with Tampa Bay and plans to visit with the Jets and Titans before it's all said and done.
Wilson has spent the past five seasons in New England.
Steelers Sign RB Mewelde Moore
The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed running back Mewelde Moore to a three-year deal worth an undisclosed amount, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Moore had been with the Vikings since 2004, but played rarely.
Roethlisberger Signs Extension
Ben Roethlisberger has agreed to terms on a new eight-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers that will pay him $102 million, according to ESPN.com's Michael Smith.
The deal includes $36 million in guarantees and is the largest of its kind in franchise history.
Roethlisberger joins the $100 million club with fellow quarterbacks Peyton Manning, Donovan McNabb, Brett Favre, Carson Palmer and Michael Vick.
