The Philadelphia Eagles have cut offensive lineman Allen Barbre and defensive end Marcus Smith.

Barbre, 33, started 12 games last season for Philadelphia, playing left guard and some right tackle. 

Smith was the Eagles' first round pick in 2014. Smith was due a roster bonus of nearly $600,000 on the third day of training camp. 

A number of Philadelphia Eagles receivers traveled to North Dakota to work out with Carson Wentz recently.

Several receivers posted about being in Fargo on social media Sunday.

Wentz is entering his second professional season and first with wide outs Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith.
