Oct 25, 2015 10:44 AM

DeMarco Murray has grown more comfortable with the Philadelphia Eagles following his 112 yard, one touchdown performance against the New York Giants.

"I finally feel like myself," Murray said Thursday via the Philadelphia Inquirer. "Everyone is starting to settle down and get their legs underneath them."

In his last two games, he has 41 carries for 145 yards and two touchdowns.

"Collectively, we're playing well right now," Murray said. "But it has a lot to do with how we prepare during the week. ... Everyone has looked in the mirror and we got better as a group."

Eagles Sticking With Sam Bradford At Quarterback

Oct 21, 2015 12:29 PM

Sam Bradford has struggled as quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles, but Chip Kelly continues to stand behind him.

Bradford has nine interceptions through six games, throwing three against the New York Giants.

"Sam's our quarterback," Kelly said Tuesday. "We have complete confidence in Sam."

Mark Sanchez is the No. 2 quarterback this season and he had a similarly bad interception rate last season.

“It is something that I never really had a problem with in my career,” Bradford said after Monday’s game about his interceptions. “I have never thrown a lot of interceptions, so this is kind of new to me. But we’re going to get it fixed.”

Kelly was drawn to Bradford because of his avoidance of interceptions in the past.

“That was one of the reasons we really liked him,” Kelly said. “We thought he was really good with the football.”

USC has interest in Sean Payton and Chip Kelly for their head coaching vacancy.

Payton is expected to consider other opportunities after the season. Payton's daughter attends Pepperdine University near USC in Malibu.

Ian Rapoport reported that Kelly would have some interest in USC, but added "a source close to him points out that Chip Kelly really likes to be liked and wanted, so that may be driving some of his interest."

Chip Kelly Denies Being Contacted By USC

Oct 16, 2015 1:38 PM

Chip Kelly has denied being contacted by USC or another university about a coaching opening.

Kelly has had mixed success in the NFL since leaving Oregon for the Philadelphia Eagles.

"I understand that it's going to happen. We're not successful and we're not winning. I came from college. We're going to go back to college," Kelly said of the perception of what his future will hold. "I hope someday to be like (Giants) coach (Tom) Coughlin and win enough games where I stay around long enough where that speculation ends. But I understand you have to ask the question. I answered it the same way a year ago. I answered it the same way my first year here. It's an unfortunate part of the game because the other part of it is there are people that have lost their jobs. A friend of mind, Steve Sarkisian, is dealing with a big issue right now and I wish him the best."

Terrell Owens 'Absolutely' Believes He Can Help Eagles

Oct 10, 2015 4:00 PM

Terrell Owens believes the Philadelphia Eagles could use him at receiver this season at the age of 41.

"Absolutely, yes," Owens told the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show on Friday, via CBS Philly. "No question, no question about that, sir."

Owens hasn't played since the preseason in 2012 with the Seattle Seahawks.

"You think that I shouldn't be playing right now?" Owens said. "I definitely could be playing right now, but based on my character -- yeah, people can say, 'Oh, he's 41.'

"But I'm not your average 41-year-old ... And when I was on that football field, I felt like I was the best thing out there and it was due to how hungry I was and how dedicated I was."

DeMarco Murray Loves Offense But Not Satisfied With Number Of Carries

Oct 4, 2015 9:49 PM

DeMarco Murray was asked if he's getting the ball enough following the Philadelphia Eagles' 1-3 start.

"Do I think I'm touching the ball [enough]?" Murray said. "No, I'm not. I don't think I am. But it's the plays that are being called. I love this offense. I love playing with these guys. It's just how it is."

Murray had eight carries for 36 yards, along with two receptions for 12.

Through three games, Murray has 29 carries for 47 yards.

Murray said he didn't plan to talk to Chip Kelly about his workload.

"I don't need to go to anyone," Murray said. "It is what it is. We'll all watch film and get better. Everyone has to get better. Losing a game like this in the division, going 0-2 in the division, it sucks."
