The Eagles have traded sixth-round pick Charles Scott to the Cardinals for cornerback Jorrick Calvin.
Calvin was drafted one spot after Scott in April's NFL Draft.
"This guy has return ability ... and you're always looking for corners," said Eagles general manager Howie Roseman.
"It's a hard to find position. We felt like it was an opportunity to bring a guy in and see what he has."

Kolb Still Looking To Get Sharper
The Eagles defeated the Chiefs on Friday night, but new starting quarterback Kevin Kolb continued to struggle.
Kolb was 11-for-25 with 103 yards. He also threw an interception and was sacked four times. He finished with a quarterback rating of 39.2.
"That wasn't quite as sharp as we'd like it, that's for sure," said Kolb. "There are a lot of details we need to clean up so there needs to be some special attention to it starting with myself."
Vick Drops Reality Show To Focus On Football
Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has dropped his reality show in order to focus on football.
Producers of "The Michael Vick Project," which aired on BET, apparently were interested in a second season, but Vick turned down the offer to concentrate on football.
"I put a stop to that," Vick said. "They asked me to do it. I don't have that lifestyle."
Owens Has 67 Yards Against Eagles
Bengals wide receiver Terrell Owens caught three passes for 67 yards in the team's 22-9 win over the Eagles on Friday night.
Philadelphia is one of Owens' former teams. His relationship with the team didn't end well following a Super Bowl appearance in 2005.
"According to sources and anybody that analyzes talent or what-have-you: I'm 36, I've slowed down, I don't have it anymore," Owens said.
"I'm a different person. I'm very talented, I keep myself in shape. So everybody can think I've slowed down. If they want to play me like that, that's fine."
Eagles Force Fan To Remove New McNabb Jersey
The Eagles are trying to fully put the Donovan McNabb Era behind them.
A fan wearing a new Redskins jersey with McNabb's name and number was asked to remove it by team officials on Wednesday during training camp.
Jim Delvin, 43, did so without complaint. He said the request came straight from Philadelphia coach Andy Reid.
A team spokesman denied that, saying that Reid was not aware of Devlin's presence.
"I just wanted to get reactions from the fan base, see who says what," Devlin said. "Maybe get in a healthy debate on whether Donovan McNabb was good or bad for this franchise."
Dungy Says Vick Still Has A Lot To Learn
Tony Dungy says that Eagles quarterback Michael Vick still has a lot to learn about his image.
Dungy has acted as a mentor to Vick in recent years.
"The first thing people have to realize is that probation officers detail everything, and if he is off track even a little, they're going to come down," Dungy said.
"They reviewed the situation that went on and moved forward. The NFL did and moved forward. Michael would like to have all the negative publicity back, but it really wasn't the type of thing that people have blown it into. But that's the lesson for him."
Vick is on probation after serving an 18-month federal prison sentence that ended in May 2009 for dogfighting.
He hosted a birthday party that ended with a shooting in late June.
Jeremy Maclin Carted Off The Field
Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin was carted off the field on Tuesday after hyperextending his left knee.
Philadelphia said Maclin will be further evaluated Wednesday.
A first-round draft pick last year, Maclin had 55 catches for 762 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie.
DeSean Jackson Carted Off With Back Injury
Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson was carted off the field on Saturday afternoon after suffering a back injury.
Jackson caught a pass Saturday and stumbled to the ground, then needed help to the sidelines. A cart then came and took him to Philadelphia's workout facility.
He is still being evaluated, but sources say the injury isn't anything serious.
