Reid, Jackson 'All Squared Away' Following Confrontation

Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson and coach Andy Reid are "all squared away" following a locker room confrontation Sunday, according to a high-level team source. Jackson was distraught after being chewed out by Reid in full view of his teammates following the Eagles' 31-26 loss to the Bears on Sunday, according to The Wilmington News Journal. A source told The News Journal that Jackson had agitated Reid with his casual attitude before the game and during pre-game drills. Jackson had just two catches for 26 yards in Philadelphia's loss to Chicago.

Eagles coach Andy Reid chewed out wide receiver DeSean Jackson following the team's loss to the Bears on Sunday, according to multiple team sources. Jackson, one source said, had irritated Reid by having a loose demeanor before the game and not taking pre-game drills seriously. Jackson and Michael Vick also had what looked like an emotional discussion. After the game, Jackson sat in front of his locker with his face buried his hands for about 20 minutes and had to be consoled by several teammate. He has just eight catches for 76 yards since his game-opening 88-yard touchdown against the Redskins three weeks ago.

He suffered a sprained left medial collateral ligament last Sunday night against the Giants while making his second interception of the game. Chicago beat Philadelphia 31-26 on Sunday afternoon as Jay Cutler threw four touchdown passes. "You could kind of tell we missed him," said safety Quintin Mikell. "Asante brings a lot to the table."
