Eagles To Pay Philly $3M To Settle Disputes
A judge has ordered the Eagles to pay the city of Philadelphia $3 million to resolve a long-standing stadium revenue dispute.
It was ruled Wednesday that the city owes the team $5 million for a 2001 preseason game with the Ravens that was canceled because of problems with the turf in Veterans Stadium.
The amount will be deducted from last week's ruling. The Eagles owe the city $8 million in luxury box revenue dating back to the 2000 and 2001 seasons.
McNabb Focused On Super Bowl, Not Contract
Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb appears to be more focused on returning to the Super Bowl than the new contract he recently signed.
"With the type of team that we have, I think it's important that we focus in on what we have to do in order to achieve that common goal, and that's obviously to win a Super Bowl," McNabb said Friday.
McNabb and the Eagles agreed to restructure the final two years of his contract on Thursday. He received a $5.3 million raise over the next two seasons.
"Both sides wanted to get something done," coach Andy Reid said. "We thought it needed to be done. Donovan warranted this. There are very few players or situations where a player is far enough along in his career, and then his contract, where he warrants something like this. We felt Donovan was in that situation."

Reid Alludes To Jim Johnson Not Being Ready For Season
Andy Reid alluded to the fact that Jim Johnson might not be available for the start of the season.
"Some days are good days, and some days are not-so-good days," Reid said. "He's receiving pretty intense chemotherapy. There are just some days that stuff gets you, and there are other days that he feels pretty good. I have a chance to talk to him about every day. He's a battler."
Eagles More Likely To Trade Reggie Brown Than Cut Him
Reggie Brown went from injured to demoted to ultimately deactivated.
By the end of it all, after he was benched for the NFC championship game, the Eagles wide receiver was disillusioned.
"I guess they felt like they had a good thing going," said Brown, who didn't dress against the Cardinals in favor of Greg Lewis. "I really didn't get any clear-cut answer about that. So I just pretty much let it go."
Brown is now healthy and motivated.
Brown declined to say if he has asked for a trade. The Eagles are more likely to trade Brown than cut him. He is about to enter the first year of a six-year contract extension he signed in 2006, and dumping the 28-year-old would cost the team nearly $3 million against the salary cap.
Eagles Sign Rookie TE Ingram
The Eagles have signed rookie tight end Cornelius Ingram to a four-year, $1.9 million deal.
Philadelphia selected Ingram in the fifth-round of April's NFL Draft.
The former University of Florida star received a $183,000 signing bonus.
Only first-round pick receiver Jeremy Maclin and second-round pick running back LeSean McCoy remain unsigned among the Eagles' 2009 picks.

Eagles Will Showcase Kolb
With the Eagles possibily extending Donovan McNabb, sources say they might showcase backup quarterback Kevin Kolb this season in an attempt to increase his trade value for a trade next offseason.
Philadelphia likes Kolb, but the starting gig following the eventual departure of McNabb might not happen quickly enough.
McNabb Talks Vaguely Of Contract Status
Donovan McNabb mentioned vaguely on Saturday that he might be in the process of getting a reworked contract from the Eagles.
McNabb said that the situation "will take care of itself."
