Raiders Likely To Play In Oakland Through 2020

Sep 26, 2017 6:29 PM

The Oakland Raiders are negotiating to remain in Oakland through 2020.

“I’m sure they’re just trying to be cautious because it’s such a tight timeline” to build a $1.9 billion, 65,000-seat domed football stadium in Las Vegas, Clark County Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak said Monday night.

The Raiders currently have an agreement to play at the Coliseum through 2018, but have no place to go in 2019.

The Raiders have essentially ruled out playing at UNLV's stadium.

Derek Carr Wants All Blame For Oakland's Loss

Sep 25, 2017 8:34 AM

Derek Carr wants to take all the blame for the Oakland Raiders' 27-10 loss to the Washington Redskins on Sunday night.

"I have to be better," Carr said. "Put all the blame on me. It's my fault. Everybody wants to pat you on the back when you win. You have to own it when you don't. Put it all on me. I'll be all right."

Carr threw an interception on his first pass attempt and finished 19-for-31 with 118 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. He was sacked four times and Oakland went 0-for-11 on third down.

"This isn't alarming, but we did get punched in the mouth," Carr said. "It's all about how we respond. We'll be ready to fight."

Sep 5, 2017 8:36 PM

The Oakland Raiders and Sebastian Janikowski are in a contractual standoff that could dictate whether the two sides spend this season together.

The Raiders asked Janikowski to rework his contract, which calls for him to make $4 million in the final season of his deal, but he declined, according to a source.

The issue is expected to be resolved by Janikowski accepting a reworked deal or with Oakland moving on to a new kicker.
