Campbell Injured Wrist Before Getting Stinger
Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell injured his wrist before leaving Saturday's preseason loss to the 49ers with a stinger.
Campbell was taken off the field in a cart after being hurt on a sack by Travis LaBoy in the second quarter.
He hurt his right wrist on the previous series in the game. He underwent an MRI on Sunday and will be evaluated again later this week.
"Usually I recover pretty fast," Campbell said. "Right now there's no timetable. The thing is just to improve and continue to keep getting better. We don't know the timetable or anything, but at the same time, I haven't really missed any time before."
Oakland coach Tom Cable said that Campbell's wrist is the more immediate concern.
Michael Bush To Have Surgery On Thumb
Raiders running back Michael Bush will undergo surgery on his broken left thumb Monday and could be back in time for the season opener.
Bush broke the thumb when he was hit on the hand by a helmet on his final carry Saturday night against San Francisco.
Oakland coach Tom Cable said Sunday there was a "good chance" Bush would be ready to play Sept. 12 in Tennessee and that he would likely not need a cast on the finger.
Michael Bush Fractures Thumb

Raiders QB Campbell Leaves Game With Stinger
Oakland Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell has left an exhibition game after being injured on a sack, according to an Associated Press report.

Charlie Frye To Miss 2010 Season
The Oakland Raiders placed backup quarterback Charlie Frye on injured reserve Thursday with a right wrist issue.
Tom Cable said it will take four to five months for Frye to rehabilitate the hurt ligament. Frye underwent surgery earlier this week and will miss the entire season.
Eli Manning May Miss Steelers' Game
Giants quarterback Eli Manning could miss the team's preseason game against the Steelers this week.
Manning suffered a gash that required 12 stitches during Monday night's 31-16 win over the Jets. Since then, he hasn't been able to put on a helmet.
"Initially, with Eli being the kind of guy he is, the idea for me going forward was: 'How are we going to make it so he can practice and play with the stitches?' " coach Tom Coughlin said.
"There is concern there from the doctor's standpoint, because the nature of where the helmet sits according to where the stitches are could create a problem in terms of healing."
Raiders Will Let Asomugha Play Both Sides
The Raiders will allow cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha to roam the field and play on both the left and right side this season.
Asomugha has been almost glued to the right side in his career.
"Every year there are times when it happens but this year I just think it will happen more because we're doing it [in practice] more and they're allowing it to happen more," Asomugha said.
"Me being able to play in the slot on third down ... I've wanted that for a while."
Frye's Hand Injury Remains Mysterious
Charlie Frye, who was supposed to fight for the second string quarterback job with Oakland, has a mysterious hand injury.
"There's so many things in your hand," said Frye, who has been out nine days with a sore and a braced-up wrist. "I guess they just want to find out some more about what's going on in there, because I can't throw a football."
With Frye's injury a concern, the Raiders signed Colt Brennan as insurance behind Jason Campbell and Kyle Boller.
