The Oakland Raiders waived struggling wide receiver Mike Williams on Tuesday, becoming the second team in six months to cut ties with the 10th pick of the 2005 draft.

Titans' coach Jeff Fisher said Monday that he expects Vince Young to return to the Titans' starting lineup against the Raiders this week. Young missed Sunday's victory against the Texans with a sore right quadriceps which he suffered against Tampa Bay on October 14.

Oakland defensive tackle Gerard Warren will miss the Raiders' game Sunday at San Diego, and defensive end Derrick Burgess and running back LaMont Jordan are doubtful. Warren has not practiced since injuring his thigh Oct. 4, but Raiders' coach Lane Kiffin said Friday he does not expect the injury to be a long-term problem.

All the secrecy about which quarterback would start for the Oakland Raiders was put to rest this week. With Josh McCown still limping around in a walking boot and Daunte Culpepper coming off a five-touchdown performance, coach Lane Kiffin saw no reason to keep secret his decision about the starting quarterback. He announced that Culpepper would start this week's game for Oakland (2-2) against the San Diego Chargers before the first question of the week was even asked. "I won't prepare any differently," Culpepper said. "I prepare the same no matter what. It's no different to me."
