The Raiders' soap opera season took another strange turn Wednesday when coach Art Shell accused a member of the organization of trying to undermine the coaching staff and rooting against the team.
Shell did not name the person, but said it was not a coach or a player. He said the person has been calling media members around the country and criticizing coaches.

Raiders' Jordan Tears MCL, Likely Out For Season
Raiders running back LaMont Jordan is likely out for the season after tearing the MCL in his left knee in Sunday's 17-13 loss to the Chiefs.
Jordan was injured on a 12-yard run in the first quarter. He limped to the sidelines, then was taken to the locker room on a cart.
"Jordan's prognosis is that he tore his MCL (medial cartilage ligament)," coach Art Shell said.

Jaguars The Favorites To Land Moss?
It is a near certainty that Randy Moss will not be wearing the silver and black next season.
The Jaguars nearly completed a trade for the wide receiver before the deadline last month and could be the favorites for his services this off-season.
Mike Tice is an assistant coach in Jacksonville.
Moss Wants To Be Traded
Randy Moss is "tired" of the frustration he feels playing for a team that has won only six of 25 games since he joined the team before last season and is interested in being traded, he said on his weekly radio spot Friday.
Moss is in his second season with the Raiders and has numbers that pale in comparison to what he put up in Minnesota.
"It's done sort of set in, man, and I'm tired of it," Moss said on Fox Sports radio. "I might want to look forward to moving somewhere else next year to have another start and really feel good about going out here and playing football."
Oakland Coliseum Wins Raiders Lawsuit In Appeals Court
A state appeals court on Friday threw out a jury's $34.2 million award to the Raiders over accusations that managers of the Oakland Coliseum falsely promised a sold-out stadium to lure the team to the Bay Area.
The case dates to 1995, when Al Davis maneuvered to get his team out of Southern California, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum's foundation was shaken by an earthquake, and a deal collapsed to build a new stadium and horse track.
Raiders' Shell Fined $12,500 For Criticizing Officials

Moss: "Make Me Happy, You Get Good Results"
Randy Moss had a national special-teams award named after him on Monday, but that didn't lift his spirits.
"Maybe because I'm unhappy and I'm not too much excited about what's going on," Moss said.
"So, my concentration and focus level tend to go down sometimes when I'm in a bad mood.
"All I can say is if you put me in a good situation and make me happy, man, you get good results."
"That's what he said?" Art Shell said before pausing to mull over Moss' words. "Well, then that's a problem he has. I don't have that problem. That's a problem that he has to deal with.
"You hate to see that. You hate to hear that."
Moss had just one catch for 8 yards on Sunday.
