The New York Jets are planning to pursue Jim Harbaugh as head coach this offseason.

The Jets would make Harbaugh a financial offer well in excess of his $7 million per year with Michigan.

Harbaugh is finishing his fourth season at Michigan, which is how long he was previously at both Stanford and the San Francisco 49ers.

The Jets began working on a pursuit of Harbaugh several weeks ago.

Le'Veon Bell Has Interest In Signing With Colts

Dec 21, 2018 5:39 PM

Le'Veon Bell reportedly has interest in signing with the Indianapolis Colts in free agency.

“He has his eyes on the Colts, no doubt about that,” an unnamed source told Ralph Vacchiano of SNY. “He sees [quarterback Andrew] Luck and that offense and all that cap room and they’re much closer than the Jets. He wants to go someplace he can win right away.”

Bell also has interest in signing with the New York Jets, who have been linked to him for months.

The Colts have a cheaper option at running back in Marlon Mack.

Relationship Between Todd Bowles, Mike Maccagnan Reaching Impasse

Dec 6, 2018 4:20 PM

The current setup of the New York Jets between Mike Maccagnan and Todd Bowles has created division, friction and passive-aggressive petulance.

The relationship has eroded over the years, which began as a shot-gun marriage arranged by Charley Casserly and Woody Johnson.

The belief is Maccagnan can learn from his mistakes, but the brain trust has lost faith in Bowles.

Bowles and Maccagnan do not share the same vision or views on players. While they have been professional, they don't think the other truly respects the other's ability to identify talent.
