Geno Smith was impressive over the weekend in his first training camp with the New York Jets, but his conditioning was an issue.

"He looked good to me yesterday until he ran gassers at the end of practice," said analyst Brian Baldinger, who attended Jets' training camp. "And Geno Smith looked like he had done no conditioning. It was actually embarrassing to see how far behind he (Mark) Sanchez and (Matt) Simms and everybody else that's there."

Dee Milliner and the New York Jets have agreed upon a four-year, $12.66 million rookie deal.

The contract is fully guaranteed with offsets.

Milliner's contract includes a signing bonus of $7.588 million.

Milliner was the ninth overall pick out of Alabama.

Aaron Berry will miss the entire 2013 season with a torn ACL.

The New York Jets will planning on using Berry, a former second round pick with the Detroit Lions, as one of their cornerbacks.

Dee Milliner and Antonio Cromartie are expected to the Jets' starting cornerbacks.

Sheldon Richardson and the New York Jets have agreed to terms on a four-year, $10.054 million deal.

Richardson was the 13th overall pick out of Missouri.

Braylon Edwards has agreed to sign with the New York Jets.

This will mark Edwards' third stint with the Jets.

Edwards caught 18 passes for 199 yards and one touchdown last season with the Seattle Seahawks and Jets.

The Seattle Seahawks have the most talent in the NFL of players 25-and-under.

The Houston Texans were ranked first in 2010, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had the distinction in 2011 and the New England Patriots last season.

The Seahawks feature Russell Wilson, Russell Okung, Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor.

The San Francisco 49ers rank second with Colin Kaepernick and Aldson Smith headlining.

The Cincinnati Bengals, Washington Redskins and Green Bay Packers round out the top-five.

The New York Jets have signed Billy Cundiff.

The Jets have cut Brett Maher.

Cundiff is now with his 12th NFL team.

Geno Smith has signed his rookie contract with the New York Jets.

Smith was the 39th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft and will sign for four seasons at approximately $5 million.

Smith is battling for the starting quarterback job of the Jets with Mark Sanchez.

The New York Jets are considering using Geno Smith as a change of pace quarterback this season assuming he doesn't win the job outright.

Smith would have a package of mainly read-option runs that could allow him to use his speed and add a new dimension to the offense while gaining actual NFL game experience.

Smith, however, wasn't productive in his limited designed runs at West Virginia. Smith considers himself a pocket passer.

Jets rookie QB Geno Smith did not attend Mark Sanchez's "Jets West" camp, but Sanchez, saying he will be the starting QB when the season begins, did not hold that against his new teammate.

"I don't hold it against any of the guys who can't make it," Sanchez said Friday after practice. "There are no hard feelings about anything like [that]. Greg [McElroy] isn't here, [Matt] Simms isn't here, some guys are gone getting married. They're doing stuff. There are plenty of other things they could be doing. If they could make the sacrifice and be here, awesome. If they can't, that's totally fine. I would never hold a grudge against anybody that's not here."
