Recent reports have indicated Johnson is tired of Revis constantly complaining about his contract and would rather get value for him now than ultimately lose him to free agency.

The New York Jets are expected to pursue Kevin Kolb if he is cut by the Arizona Cardinals this week.

Kolb is due a $2 million roster bonus on Saturday.

If the Jets were able to sign Kolb, reports indicate that there is a good chance he can open the season starting at quarterback instead of Mark Sanchez.

Santonio Holmes has agreed to a restructured contract for the 2013 season with the New York Jets.

Holmes has yet to finish with at least 800 yards receiving since coming to the Jets, something he did in each of his four seasons with the Steelers.

The trade is fair in terms of compensation to the Jets and the financial package that would be extended to Revis.

The 49ers' interest in Revis is ".001 on a scale of 1-10," according to a source.

Rex Ryan has denied that trade rumors involving Darrelle Revis.

"I will stand firm by saying there was no truth to that," said Ryan.

Revis tore his ACL in Week 3 last season.

David Garrard and the New York Jets are close on a deal.

Garrard worked out for the Jets on Thursday.

Garrard has not played in a regular season game since 2010.
