The Jets are still taking a wait-and-see approach with free-agent wide receiver Plaxico Burress.
Sources say that New York is waiting to see what comes of Plaxico's legal situation, and that they are unlikely to make a play for him if he is suspended for a lengthy period of time.
However, if Burress escapes major suspension and gets his legal situation cleared up, the Jets are expected to be among the most likely suitors.
