Guard Stacy Andrews signed a one-year contract Monday with the Bengals, who had made him one of their restricted free agents.
Andrews, a fourth-year player who started three games last season, had drawn interest from the Jets. The Jets would have had to give the Bengals a second-round draft pick in compensation if they signed Andrews.

Jets Shopping McCareins
The New York Jets are shopping former Titans receiver Justin McCareins around the NFL, and Tennessee is a team that could have interest in bringing him back.
?I talked to Mike Reinfeldt about three weeks ago and he told me they definitely would have some interest in Justin at the right price,? McCareins? agent Cliff Brady said.
According to Brady, the Jets have been attempting to deal the six-year veteran, who spent his first three seasons with the Titans, and Brady has done some deal brokering of his own.
?The Jets have been shopping him around the league, and I?ve been shopping him around to clubs myself, but right now I think their asking price is maybe a bit too high to get a deal done. Hopefully, it will come down a bit as we get a little closer to draft day or maybe even during the draft and something can get done.?
CB Gay Visits Jets
Patriots cornerback Randall Gay yesterday completed a visit with the Jets, who now must decide if they want to sign him to an offer sheet.
Gay is a restricted free agent and the Pats tendered him with a one-year, $1.3 million qualifying offer. If Gay signs an offer sheet with the Jets, the Patriots would have seven days to match it. If the Pats opted to let Gay leave, they would be compensated with a second-round draft pick from the Jets, who own two second-round picks in the April 28-29 NFL Draft.
