Osi Umenyiora, who signed a two-year, $8.5 million deal with the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday, says that his new team is the most talented he has ever played with.

Umenyiora won two Super Bowls in 10 seasons with the New York Giants.

"A lot of times, being able to get to that game or win that game is not even about the coaches or the organization," Umenyiora said.

"This team is the most talented team I've seen in my life, probably. But it's not going to be about coaching. It's going to be about what the players are able to do, and you need that veteran leadership. You need guys who have been in those games and can tell you about exactly what happened."

The New York Giants will wear white pants instead of their traditional gray for select games during the 2013 season.

The Giants last wore white pants in 1999, which was their final season before a major uniform overhaul. 

The Giants’ last “alternate” uniform was unveiled back in 2004, when they broke out the red jerseys with white letters and numbers. 

The New York Giants have extended an offer of more than $7 million per season to Victor Cruz.

Cruz would also receive a sizable guarantee.

Cruz, an unrestricted free agent, is unlikely to receive a competing deal from another team.Gar

New York Giants' co-owner Steve Tisch said Sunday he believes it's "probable" another team will make an offer to Victor Cruz.

Cruz is a restricted free agent.

The Giants couldn't strike a long-term extension with Cruz before free agency began. 

The Giants tendered Cruz with a first round RFA tender, which gives the team the right of refusal if another team makes Cruz an offer.

If the Giants refuse to match a potential offer, they will receive a first-round pick as compensation. 

Cruz is in the process of switching to agent Tom Condon. 

Martellus Bennett has agreed to a deal to sign a four-year deal, $20 million with the Chicago Bears.

Bennett spent last season with the New York Giants.

Bennett is a talented but sometimes frustrating tight end.

Cullen Jenkins and the New York Giants have agreed upon a three-year, $8 million deal.

The contract includes a $2 million signing bonus and $3 million guaranteed in total.

Jenkins, a defensive lineman, has spent his career with the Packers and Eagles.

Tom Coughlin is confident that the New York Giants will be able to reach agreement on a new deal with Victor Cruz. 

“Absolutely I think it’ll get done,” Coughlin said. “These things take time, as much as we’d all like them to happen now. It’s a process.”

Cruz will become a restricted free agent on Mar. 12 and the Giants are likely to give him a 'first-round tender' worth $2.879 million.

The Giants would be able to match any offer Cruz receives and also receive a first round pick in compensation from that team.
