Jun 10, 2014 5:01 AM

The first quarter belonged to Steve McNair, who produced a touchdown on his first series with the Ravens before sitting out the rest of the game. McNair didn't get a win to savor, however, because the Giants dominated the fourth quarter and rallied for a 17-16 victory Friday night. In his lone drive, McNair moved the Ravens 80 yards in 12 plays. He went 4-for-5 for 45 yards and ran for a 6-yard touchdown.

Shockey's Teammate Demps Is Unapologetic

Jun 6, 2014 1:47 PM

The post-concussion headaches that three-time Pro Bowl tight end Jeremy Shockey was experiencing Tuesday seemingly were of no concern to New York Giants safeties Gibril Wilson and Will Demps. Shockey and Demps were involved in a collision that forced Shockey to miss practice on Tuesday with a mild concussion. Demps downplayed the collision, saying that both players were going for the pass thrown by Eli Manning and that there was contact. Replays showed Demps' elbow hitting Shockey's facemask, sending the receiver hard to the ground, where he lay for about a minute. When he got up, Shockey pointed angrily to Demps, who signed with New York in the offseason after four seasons in Baltimore. "I was going for the ball and the outcome, you guys saw it," Demps said. "We met at the same time. If it was one of those ones where if I really wanted to hit him, I could, but why would I want to do that?"

Giants' Shockey Dazed In Monday Practice Collision

Oct 26, 2014 7:33 AM

Three-time Pro Bowl tight end Jeremy Shockey was dazed in a collision with safety Will Demps late in the Giants' evening practice Monday. Shockey was reaching for a pass by QB Eli Manning during a two-minute drill when Demps appeared to hit him in the helmet as he ran to cover the pass. A stunned Shockey fell to the grass and stayed down for about a minute. He returned to the huddle and ran the final two plays of the practice, but he slammed his helmet to the ground after the last play.
