The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to sign LeGarrette Blount to a two-year deal.

Blount, 27, also had interest from the New England Patriots in bringing him back, but sources say they didn't approach the financial commitment of the Steelers.

Blount rushed for 772 yards and scored seven touchdowns last season for New England. 

Peyton Manning instructed his agent to not ask for more money than Tom Brady when he negotiated his new contract in 2012.

When Manning decided to sign with the Denver Broncos, he asked his agent Tom Condon: "What does Tom Brady make?"

"$18 million a year," Condon replied, according to MMQB.com.

"Then I don't want to make a penny more than that," Manning said.

The Broncos' offer was for $19.4 million annually.

Condon believed he could command $25 million per season for Manning.

Vince Wilfork and the New England Patriots have agreed on a new three-year, $22.5 million deal.

Wilfork was in the final season of his deal that would pay him $7.5 million.

Wilfork suffered an Achilles injury during the first month of the 2013 season.

Wilfork had asked for his release earlier in the offseason.

The Baltimore Ravens are interested in signing LeGarrette Blount.

Adding Bount seems like an odd fit with Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce on the roster, though Rice could receive a suspension for his arrest in February in Atlantic City.

Blount emerged with the New England Patriots late last season.

The Carolina Panthers reached out to the Philadelphia Eagles about the availability of DeSean Jackson.

The Oakland Raiders, New York Jets, New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers are the other teams that have expressed interest.

The Eagles have not responded to Jackson trade rumors, indicating Chip Kelly would like to part ways with the talented wide receiver.

The San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots are among the teams that have inquired about Jackson.

The New England Patriots have signed Brandon LaFell to a three-year, $11 million deal.

LaFell never lived up to expectations with the Carolina Panthers.

New England also has second-year players Kenbrell Thompkins, Aaron Dobson and Josh Boyce returning to the roster.

Julian Edelman has agreed to re-sign with the New England Patriots.

Edelman had visited the San Francisco 49ers.

With the loss of several key receiving options, Edelman emerged as the top target for Tom Brady by the end of the season.

Brandon Browner has agreed to a three-year, $17 million deal with the New England Patriots.

Browner had spread word to friends on Thursday that he agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal with New England. Browner's agent denied the NFL.com report that a deal was in place.

The Baltimore Ravens have agreed upon a three-year deal with Steve Smith worth $10.5 million.

Smith's deal includes a $3.5 million signing bonus.

Ozzie Newsome sealed the deal with Smith before he could meet with the New England Patriots.
