Darrelle Revis explained that he was forced to pull up because of an injured left hamstring on Randy Moss? touchdown catch in the first half.
?I don?t want nobody to score on me or the secondary. But I pulled up,? said Revis, who wouldn?t return to the game after the play. ?I usually rely on my speed, but I tried to speed up and it wouldn?t let me speed up to make a play. It was just a nice throw and catch. I?ll be on SportCenter tonight.?
?Revis Island? will be back when it?s time for me to play,? said Revis.
Revis said he wasn?t sure when he would be back from his injured hamstring, although the ailment wasn?t classified as a pull or a tear.

Jets May Switch Revis Onto Welker
While there has been a war of words between Darrelle Revis and Randy Moss this week, the Jets' cornerback might switch up who he covers.
Sources indicate a potential scenario where Revis will cover Wes Welker, who may just be a more important receiving threat to New England than Moss.
Patriots Sign Former Jet Night Before Showdown
Danny Woodhead, a running back/wide receiver who quickly became a Jets fan favorite, has signed with the Patriots, the team announced Saturday.
The Patriots had an open roster spot after they traded running back Laurence Maroney to the Denver Broncos earlier in the week.
Woodhead was released by the Jets on Tuesday after initially making the team out of training camp. He played in 10 games last season, running 15 times for 64 yards and catching eight passes for 87 yards.
Welker: Rehab Could Take Another Year
Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker says that it could take a full year before he's 100 percent back to the player he was before tearing his ACL last January.
"I don't know if I can really put a number on it," Welker said when asked how he feels. "It takes a full year until I'm me again, is what they say. I'm just trying to take it a day at a time and do what I can with what I got right now."
Welker added that he hopes to shed his knee brace at some point this year.
"I'm definitely ready to get rid of it," he said. "At the same time, we're going to be cautious with it."
Revis Responds To Moss Comments
Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis is preparing to face Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss.
Revis dominated Moss in two meetings last season.
Moss said Tuesday that he "prided [his] offseason on staying off Revis Island."
"Obviously, if he's speaking that ... I'm sure it was on his mind in the offseason," Revis said in response.
Brady Received $16M Signing Bonus
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's four-year contract extension includes a $16 million signing bonus, according to a source.
Brady had his base salary in 2010 increased to $7.5 million.
He will earn base salaries of $5.75 million in 2011; $5.75 million in 2012; $9.75 million in 2013; and $9.75 million in 2014.
Meanwhile, Brady has roster bonuses of $4 million in 2011, $6 million in 2012, $5 million in 2013 and $5 million in 2014.
He can also earn $250,000 workout bonuses in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, adding another possible $1 million to the pact.
Moss Wants To Remain With New England
After meeting with Patriots coach Bill Belichick, wide receiver Randy Moss softened his stance on his contract situation.
Moss used his post-game press conference to reveal his true feelings on Sunday, saying he feels disrespected, wants a new contract and isn't sure if he'll remain with the Patriots.
"The timing could have been bad, but it was actually my first time speaking to the media this year," Moss said.
"I wanted to get it off my chest instead of waiting until Week 12, Week 13 on down the road to where it really could become a distraction to our team, what we're trying to accomplish. It was something I just wanted to do. Maybe it was bad timing but I ... cleared my mind to feel good about myself."
Moss admitted that Belichick told him to "watch what I do and watch what I say" in the future.
He also said it he felt "relieved" to get the bad feelings about his contract off his chest.
"Let me say this again, I do not want to leave New England, because I love what they do there. I love the team. I love the coaching staff," Moss said. "And I love playing here on Sundays. But I think from a business standpoint, I have to look out for the best interest of me and my family.
"Next year, I don't know where I will be playing. Hopefully it will be here in New England. Whoever wants to give me a shot to hopefully come and help their team, I look forward to that opportunity."
Patriots Trade Maroney To Broncos
The Patriots have traded running back Laurence Maroney to the Broncos, according to multiple sources.
New England will receive a fourth-round pick in 2011 while pairing Maroney with a sixth-round selection.
Maroney, who was limited by a thigh injury of late, was inactive for the team's season-opening win.
Man Dies After Collapsing At Gillette
Officials say the Patriots fan that needed medical attention on the field shortly before the season opener against the Bengals later died.
The man was pronounced dead of an apparent heart attack.
He and his son were sitting near the south end zone at Gillette Stadium when he was stricken about half an hour before kickoff.
Moss, Belichick Reportedly Meet
Disgruntled wide receiver Randy Moss and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick reportedly met on Monday to discuss their differences.
Moss went on a post-game rant about feeling disrespected following New England's win over Cincinnati on Sunday. His contract expires at the end of the season.
Belichick didn't confirm the meeting, but Moss told the Boston Herald of the sit down.
"I feel the same way as I've felt about Randy for the last three years. He's a good football player," Belichick said at his Monday news conference.
"I'm glad he's on our team. I think he adds a lot to our football team. He has good energy. Everybody likes him and he's fun to have on the team. He's a good player."
