Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and personnel head Nick Caserio dined with Tim Tebow on Monday night, according to sources.
Tebow had been in Buffalo, making the rounds with Bills personnel, and was scheduled for a private workout with the Patriots.

McDaniels Once Went Three Weeks Without Speaking To Brady
During his time with New England, current Denver head coach Josh McDaniels once went three weeks without speaking to quarterback Tom Brady.
The development was reported by the Denver Post on Sunday.
McDaniels was promoted to essentially offensive coordinator following the 2004 season, when Charlie Weis left for Notre Dame.
In their first season together, McDaniels and Brady dealt with the communication breakdown.
"You have to have thick skin," McDaniels said. "Charlie Weis was as good of a mentor and friend to me as I could have asked for. But at the same time, if my skin wasn't thick, he would have crushed me. That's not what I'm trying to do when I get animated. But I guess I don't react well in terms of trying to hold in whatever my emotions are telling me to do. I let it out.
"A lot of people like that. Other people may not. A lot of that has to do with whether you win or lose."
Moss Discovers Pool For Conditioning
Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss has discovered a way to work on his conditioning without putting extreme stress on his knees.
Moss has taken to swimming.
"Well, I tried swimming in the pool the other day," New England linebacker Shawn Crable told the Boston Herald.
"Randy (Moss) told us about swimming. So me and Thomas (Williams) got in the pool, trying to swim. Found out I'm no Michael Phelps. No Michael Phelps at all. You know, if you go out on a boat, you want to see shore, you think you can swim, no matter what type of waves there are... nah."
Patriots Interested In Pair Of USC Players
The Patriots are expected to take long looks at USC wide receiver Damien Williams and tight end Anthony McCoy.
New England reportedly met with Williams last week, and another team contingent will be at USC's pro day on Wednesday to review both players, as well defensive end Everson Griffen, safety Taylor Mays and offensive tackle Charles Brown.
Belichick Says His Workload Won't Increase
Patriots coach Bill Belichick says that his workload won't increase this season.
Belichick has decided not to name offensive or defensive coordinators.
"I'm not going to take on more workload," Belichick told ESPNBoston.com.
"It just might be distributed a little differently. That's the way it's been in the past. My workload hasn't changed in the last 10 years. It's been distributed differently, from year to year, or even within a year, within different timeframes of the year -- between personnel and football, or offense, defense and special teams as it relates just to football."
Kraft: Pats Will Get Brady Deal Done
Patriots owner Robert Kraft said the team will continue to talk about a contract extension for quarterback Tom Brady.
Kraft also expressed confidence that the sides will strike a long-term agreement.
"Let's put it like this: Tom Brady is going to be part of this franchise. He wants to be, we want him," Kraft told reporters early Monday. "Great things happen in life if you're flexible and not rigid. We have to find a way to satisfy him and the team, and have a team that can win big-time. That's what it's about.
"We're balancing a lot of different factors in an unknown environment. We're not sleeping. It's just complicated. It's complicated for everyone. We hope we do a satisfactory job, but we'll figure it out one way or another."
Brady, 32, is entering the final year of his contract in 2010 after signing a six-year, $60 million extension in 2005.
New England Signs Alge Crumper
The New England Patriots have agreed to terms with free-agent tight end Alge Crumpler, the Boston Globe reported Thursday, giving the team a veteran presence at the position.
Crumpler spent the last two seasons with the Tennessee Titans and started 19 games.
Thomas Not At Voluntary Workout, Never Said He Wanted To Be A Jet
Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas was not in attendance Monday for the start of the team's offseason program at Gillette Stadium.
Thomas told the Boston Herald that he was not even aware that the voluntary program had begun.
He is under contract to earn $4.9 million in 2010 and said last month he is not sure where he will play next season.
His name was linked to the Jets this offseason after comments made by New York linebacker Bart Scott.
"I've heard of all the chatter up there about me," Thomas said. "It was about something Bart Scott said on TV, [and] that's not what was said ... I have never told anyone that I wanted to leave and go play for the Jets."
Warren Skips Workout Bonus For School
Patriots defensive end Ty Warren is forgoing his $250,000 offseason workout bonus.
Warren says no amount of money is worth having his kids see their father without a college degree.
A possible NFL lockout in 2011, which has him thinking more about life after his playing career, also is on his mind.
"I try to put the kids in the best educational system possible and I think there is something to be said for their father, who has been blessed to play in the NFL and do something he's loved to do, going back and finishing what he started," Warren said.
"In the big picture, I think it's important for me to do what I'm doing. I can sacrifice that bonus for that."
Source: Welker Has Torn Rotator Cuff
In addition to undergoing surgery to repair torn ligaments in his left knee, Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker is also recovering from a torn rotator cuff this offseason, according to a source.
The source said the knee, not the rotator cuff, remains Welker's primary obstacle in returning for the 2010 season.
He led the NFL with 123 receptions last season despite missing two games.
