Lions quarterback Shaun Hill is accusing the Patriots of playing dirty on Thursday afternoon. Hill believes the Patriots tried to re-break his left arm during a sneak play, according to a report. During the second quarter, Hill ran a quarterback sneak from New England's two-yard line and extended his arms toward the goal line. He had been playing with a fracture in his non-throwing forearm suffered against the Giants five weeks ago and said he felt someone in the scrum trying to work over his limb on Sunday. "That's why I eventually gave up the ball," Hill said, according to Mlive.com. "Somebody was down there [in the pile] literally trying to break my arm, which is already broken. Literally, trying. And, uh, y'know, I guess [it] wasn't seen [by officials]."

Both the Patriots and Jets won on Thanksgiving and they'll have extra time to prepare for one another heading into their Week 13 battle. New York coach Rex Ryan has hyped the Dec. 6 showdown against New England and Bill Belichick as a championship-caliber boxing match. "There are a lot of really good coaches in this league, but there's only one guy that's the best," Ryan said. "I like a challenge. It motivates you. It's like anything else, almost like going into a championship fight. You're going to have to fight the best guy. "I pride myself on being a good football coach," he continued. "With the guys that I have around us, I feel confident. But I'm still not in Bill Belichick's class, and I know that. But I know one thing: He's going to get my best shot." Ryan is 2-1 against Belichick as a head coach.

Danny Woodhead and the Patriots agreed to a two-year extension worth up to $2.4 million. ?I?m just really thrilled to be a part of this organization,? said Woodhead. Since Kevin Faulk went down in the second game of the season, Woodhead has gained 344 yards and scored three touchdowns on 64 carries, and recorded 24 catches for 230 yards and a touchdown.

Raiders defensive end Richard Seymour was ejected for an open-handed punch to Ben Roethlisberger's face as the Steelers quarterback was celebrating a touchdown pass. After completing the 22-yard throw to Emmanuel Sanders, Roethlisberger jumped into the arms of tackle Flozell Adams. Roethlisberger then began walking forward and appeared to say something to Seymour, who turned and struck the quarterback in the jaw with his open right hand. "I apologize to my teammates," Seymour said after the game. "I never want to do anything to hurt the team. You always want to protect yourself, but there's no excuse."

Linebacker Pierre Woods was working as a groundskeeper at his alma mater Michigan when he received a call from the Patriots. Woods is scheduled to earn a base salary of $630,000 this season (prorated over the final seven weeks), and a base salary of $640,000 next season.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is listed as probable for Sunday night's game against the Steelers with a foot injury, but he is expected to play. The Patriots list a probable designation as a "virtual certainty that the player will be available for normal duty." Brady's injury was reported by the Boston Globe to be a foot sprain.

The Patriots are expected to sign free-agent kicker Shayne Graham, according to an NFL source. Graham will likely be New England's kicker on Sunday night against Pittsburgh, depending on the recovery of Stephen Gostkowski's leg.

Tom Brady has signed an endorsement deal with Under Armour. Brady previously endorsed Nike, but his contract expired last summer. "Under Armour's everything I was looking for,'' Brady said. "It's cool. It's fun. It's what so many of the kids are wearing, and I like to try to stay cutting-edge. I like the company. I think we've got a lot in common. We both want to stay hungry, stay humble.'' Brady is not only joining Under Armour as a contracted endorser, but also is getting a financial stake in the company. "Tom is a shareholder in Under Armour,'' said 38-year-old company founder and CEO Kevin Plank. "Equity was a part of our deal. That was important to Tom, that [a stake in the company] was a part of the deal.''

An injury to New England's regular kicker forced wide receiver Wes Welker to kick an extra point on Sunday against Cleveland. Stephen Gostkowski suffered a thigh injury during the first half and Welker nailed the point-after attempt with 6:37 left to make the score 27-14 in favor of the Browns.

The Saints were reportedly close to trading running back Pierre Thomas to the Patriots. The teams discussed a deal on the eve of the trading deadline on Oct. 19 with the framework involving Thomas for a cornerback. Talks, according to a source, ended when the Patriots wanted the Saints to throw in a draft pick.
