Patriots quarterback Tom Brady told the Boston Herald that there is no need to worry about his surgically-repaired knee.
"I feel as good as I could possibly feel," Brady said. "I don't think about it. It doesn't bother me doing anything, so it's feeling really good. That's about as good as I can say. I'm real happy with where I'm at and coming out in these workouts I'm happy to participate in them. That was something that was a big goal for me to be able to do."
Brady had reconstructive knee surgery on Oct. 6, and has been wearing a brace on his left knee in workouts.
"I'd rather not wear it," Brady said, "but (trainer) Jim (Whalen) is forcing me to wear it, so I got to listen to him."

Brady Wants To Play Into His 40's
Tom Brady is feeling healthy and plans to remain in the NFL for a very long time to come.
"(Playing 10 more seasons) is a big goal of mine, a very big goal. I want to play until I'm 41. And if I get to that point and still feel good, I'll keep playing. I mean, what the hell else am I going to do? I don't like anything else.
"People say, 'What will you do if you don't play football?' Why would I even think of doing anything else? What would I do instead of run out in front of 80,000 people and command 52 guys and be around guys I consider brothers and be one of the real gladiators? Why would I ever want to do anything else? It's so hard to think of anything that would match what I do: Fly to the moon? Jump out of planes? Bungee-jump off cliffs? None of that s--- matters to me. I want to play this game I love, be with my wife and son, and enjoy life."
Moss: Sky Is Limit For Patriots' Offense
Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss believes that the sky is the limit for the team's offense this season.
"The sky's the limit for this offense," Moss said. "I think that we could be a little bit better than two years ago. I'm very excited for us as an offense. I'm excited for us as a team. There's a lot of good things about Tom Brady coming back that excites people, the fans, the coaches and the players around here. All we can hope is to come out with smoking guns."
Moss caught an NFL-record 23 touchdowns in 2007, and said that the offense is "going to be a little bit scarier" with two years under its belt.
Gutierrez Hopes To Backup Brady
Matt Gutierrez knows how quickly a backup can become a starter, which is why he wants to be Tom Brady's backup in New England this season.
"It's not just what happened last year with Matt [Cassell]," said Gutierrez. "You don't have to look too far to see another example. That's how Tom got his chance. It's our job not to get complacent just because you're not getting many reps."
With Cassell in Kansas City, many expect Kevin O'Connell to begin the season as Brady's backup. However, Gutierrez isn't conceding the job just yet.
"You have to study more than the guy getting the reps in practice," Gutierrez said. "You have to take your reps mentally. You have to embrace what the job is. If I focus on some hoped-for opportunity, I won't be prepared for it."
