The Minnesota Vikings are open to the idea of having Kaare Vedvik serve as both their kicker and punter this season.

The Vikings traded a 2020 fifth-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens for Vedvik on Sunday.

The NFL hasn't had a full-time combo kicker since Frank Corral did so with the Los Angeles Rams in 1981.

"Yeah, if he's good enough, I wouldn't have a problem with that," Mike Zimmer said. "But I don't know. Again, I think everything is a possibility at this point."

The Minnesota Vikings have hired Andrew Miller as Chief Operating Officer.

Miller previously worked for the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Minnesota Vikings have traded an undisclosed draft pick to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for kicker Kaare Vedvik.

The pick will be a fifth rounder in 2020, according to a source.

Vedvik, a native of Norway, was 12-of-13 on field goals in the preseason the past two years for Baltimore after being signed as an undrafted kicker in 2018.

In Thursday's preseason opener, Vedvik increased his value by making all four of his field goals, including a 55-yarder, and had two punts over 50 yards.
