The Chiefs' Jared Allen is headed to the Vikings, according to multiple sources, and reported by ESPN.com.
Late Tuesday night, the Chiefs and the Vikings reached an agreement on a trade package, and at roughly the same time, Allen reached an agreement in principle on a contract with the Vikings. Upon reaching the contract agreement, Allen headed to the airport and left to meet with Minnesota.

No Agreement Yet Between Allen, Vikings
Defensive end Jared Allen and the Minnesota Vikings still have yet to come to terms on a long-term contract offer, which has held up a potential trade from the Chiefs, according to the Kansas City Star.
Several reports, however, have indicted that the talks of compensation between the Vikings and Chiefs have impeded the talks.
Allen could possibily pay a visit to the Buccaneers this week as well, adding a third fold into the mix.
Vikings Still Working To Acquire DE Allen
The Vikings are still working to trade for Kansas City defensive end Jared Allen, according to the Star Tribune.
Allen visited with Minnesota on Friday night, and would need to agree on a long-term contract with the Vikings in order to facilitate a trade from the Chiefs.
"It's a multi-front type of [deal]," Vikings owner Zygi Wilf said. "You have to deal with Kansas City, you have to deal with Jared. It's a whole aspect, and you have to weigh that with what's best for the club. That's ultimately what's most important. What would be the best for this club and how we can get to the next level?"
Minnesota's Udeze Receives Great Health News
Vikings' defense end Kenechi Udeze received a double dose of great medical news on Friday night, according to the Star Tribune.
Doctors told him that his leukemia is in remission and that his brother is a perfect match for a bone marrow transplant.
"I had been waiting a long time to hear those words," Kenechi Udeze said Friday night.
He was diagnosed with an acute from of leukemia three months ago.
Herschel Walker Reveals Problem With Identity Disorder
Herschel Walker has revealed in a new book that he suffers from dissociative identity disorder. Walker has tried to manage a dozen alternate personalities and that the condition nearly drove him to suicide.
Walker has been in treatment for eight years and believes the disorder is under control, adding that writing the book was therapeutic for him.
"I've totally changed from back then to where I am today," he said.
Ex-Viking' Eller Arrested
Former Vikings' great Carl Eller was arrested after he refused to give a breath test for drunken driving early Wednesday, as reported by the Associated Press.
The 66-year-old Eller was jailed about 2 a.m. on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, fleeing police, and assaulting a police officer.
The report said police stopped Eller?s vehicle, and Eller punched at least one officer.
The officer later received medical treatment for bruises. Injuries to another officer were identified as minor.
Police scheduled a news conference later Wednesday.
Vikings Finalize Deal With Veteran Frerotte
The Vikings have finalized a deal with veteran quarterback Gus Frerotte, according to the Associated Press.
He was the team's backup (behind Daunte Culpepper) in 2003 and 2004, and will serve as Tarvaris Jackson's safety net.
Frerotte is a fourteen-year NFL veteran.
Vikings Close To Signing QB Frerotte
The Vikings appear to be close to signing free agent quarterback Gus Frerotte, according to the Star Tribune.
Frerotte has also visited with the Packers, but expects to make his decision within the next few days.
Minnesota has been attempting to trade for Houston's Sage Rosenfels, but the Texans don't appear interested in dealing their backup quarterback.
