Wide receiver Koren Robinson was among eight players cut by the Vikings on Saturday, 10 days after he was charged with drunken driving and fleeing police.
Robinson, who made the Pro Bowl as a kick returner last season and signed a three-year, $12.7 million contract extension in March, was one of the Vikings' few bright spots last season.
Robinson's agent, Alvin Keels, didn't immediately return a phone call from The Associated Press.

Koren Robinson, starting wide receiver for the Vikings, was arrested late Tuesday night on his way back to training camp in Mankato, Minn., on suspicion of drunken driving, according to a St. Peter, Minn., police official.
Sgt. Loren Jansen of the St. Peter Police Department said Robinson was arrested at 10:46 p.m., for "driving while impaired" and is being held at Nicollet County Jail in St. Peter.
Jansen said multiple charges are pending, and a report has not been filed yet. "I won't be able to tell you a lot, other than that he was arrested for driving while impaired," Jansen said, "and he is incarcerated at this time."

Moss Makes Return To Metrodome Monday Night
Football season at the Metrodome seemed to be missing something last year.
For the first time in eight years, Randy Moss wasn't there hauling in long touchdown passes.
That could change Monday night when Moss returns to the place where he became a star, this time for a preseason game against his former team. The Vikings traded the supremely talented but maddeningly enigmatic Moss to the Raiders before last season.
Vikings' Williams Out For Season

Vikings coach Brad Childress confirmed on Sunday that strong safety Tank Williams will need to undergo season-ending surgery for a fractured kneecap. Williams suffered the injury during practice on Saturday.
"I feel terrible for Tank," Childress said before practice on Sunday.
