Five more replacements will need to be named.

Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel will replace Tom Brady on the AFC's Pro Bowl roster. New England's signal-caller will reportedly have surgery to repair a stress fracture in his foot. Cassel landed in Kansas City as a starter after an injury to Brady forced him into the Patriots' lineup in 2008. "There are so many crazy things, when you look back, about Tom having an injury and me getting my chance," Cassel said Thursday. "It's really weird."

Chiefs coach Todd Haley did not strip Charlie Weis of his play-calling duties in Sunday's playoff loss to the Ravens, according to a source. 610 Sports in Kansas City reported Monday that Haley stripped Weis of play-calling duties at halftime of the loss. Weis and Haley got along for most of the season, but lately their relationship had deteriorated to the point where it would have been difficult for each to work with the other for another season. Weis recently accepted a job to become offensive coordinator at Florida.

The Chiefs will need to replace offensive coordinator Charlie Weis and they are looking at Denver's Mike McCoy, according to sources. McCoy joined the Broncos in 2009 when Josh McDaniels was hired as head coach. The playbook and terminology that was employed by McDaniels and McCoy is comparable to what the Chiefs have utilized since Todd Haley became coach in 2009.

The Ravens defeated the Chiefs 30-7 on Sunday afternoon to setup a battle with the AFC North rival Steelers next weekend. Joe Flacco threw two touchdown passes and Billy Cundiff kicked three field goals as the offense capitalized on multiple Kansas City turnovers. Baltimore and Pittsburgh split their season series, with each winning on the other's home field.

Chiefs coach Todd Haley says he has no knowledge of offensive coordinator Charlie Weis possibly taking a similar job with the University of Florida. Reports stated Weis might leave the Chiefs for Florida after this season. Haley said Friday he was "unaware of anything." "It would be news to me," Haley said.
