Chiefs Sign Cassel To Multi-Year Extension
The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Tuesday that QB Matt Cassel has signed a multi-year extension with the club. The Chiefs acquired Cassel in a trade with New England on February 28th.

A person close to the negotiations says the Chiefs have signed quarterback Matt Cassel to a multiyear deal.
The person, who requested anonymity because no official announcement had been made, did not describe terms of the deal to The Associated Press. The signing was first reported by the Kansas City Star.
