Jaguars LS Offers To Buy Tickets From Angry Colts Fans

Aug 27, 2019 8:12 AM

Jacksonville Jaguars long-snapper Matt Overton is offering to buy season tickets from Indianapolis Colts fans looking for refunds in the wake of Andrew Luck's retirement.

Overton, who played five seasons with the Colts (2012-16), made the offer on Twitter after seeing reports on social media that Colts season-ticket holders wanted their money back.

He said he plans to donate the tickets to Riley Hospital for Children in downtown Indianapolis.

"Riley Hospital is near and dear to me," Overton said. "It's near and dear to the entire community of Indianapolis and if we can help these kids and families go to a game and cheer on their favorite team, the Colts, let's make it happen."

A Colts spokesman said the team has received only a handful of calls seeking refunds.

Jalen Ramsey Sees Raiders, Titans As Future Destinations

Aug 8, 2019 10:58 AM

Jalen Ramsey made it clear he's ready for a big payday when he reported to camp last month.

If the Jacksonville Jaguars don't give him the contract he desires, the cornerback has already picked out a few potential destinations.

On an episode of the Bussin' With the Boys podcast, Ramsey revealed two clubs he's interested in.

"It would probably be either here [Titans] or Vegas [Raiders]," Ramsey said.

The Jaguars picked up his $13.7 million option for 2020 and can franchise tag him in 2021.

Yannick Ngakoue Ends Holdout Returning To Jags Without New Deal

Aug 4, 2019 2:12 PM

Yannick Ngakoue has ended his 11-day holdout by returning to the Jacksonville Jaguars without a new contract.

Ngakoue said he wasn't going to take a contract he felt didn't match his value.

"At the end of the day, they had a chance to sign me for a long-term deal, but it didn't get done," Ngakoue said after Sunday's practice. "It is what it is. I'm just here like I said. I love football, love my teammates, and I'm here to play games.

"... At the end of the day, I know my value, I know my worth. That's all I can say. Doesn't matter about anybody else knowing my value. I showed each and every year."

Ngakoue faces a fine of $528,650, which also includes $88,650 for skipping the team's mandatory three-day minicamp in June.
