Aaron Rodgers is in a sling after breaking his collarbone two weeks ago against the Minnesota Vikings.

Rodgers made an appearance on Conan Thursday night, his first public appearance since undergoing surgery.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback told Conan O'Brien that he has "13 screws" in his collarbone.

Rodgers wouldn't elaborate when asked by ESPN to confirm the number of screws saying, "It's TV. Sometimes you exaggerate. And then sometimes, you tell the truth."

Aaron Rodgers has undergone successful surgery to repair his broken collarbone.

There's a possibility of Rodgers returning this season.

"I think it will be clear when the discussion is completed, and we'll make that decision," Mike McCarthy said Friday. "That's what the conversations are for today."

McCarthy said Rodgers would not attend Sunday's game at Lambeau Field because he's recovering out of town. 

"Everything went very well is my understanding talking with Dr. McKenzie, and he's recovering," McCarthy said.

Rodgers missed seven weeks when he broke the collarbone on his left side.

Rodgers suffered the injury in the Green Bay Packers' Week 6 loss.

Rodgers landed on his throwing shoulder when he was hit by Anthony Barr in the first quarter of Week 6.

Brett Hundley, who is the only other quarterback on the roster, replaced Rodgers.

Rodgers had played in all 16 games in each of the past three seasons.

Davante Adams is expected to play for the Green Bay Packers in Week 5 at the Dallas Cowboys. Adams was taken off the field on a gurney in Week 4 following a big hit from Danny Trevathan. 

Adams was clearly shortly before the Packers boarded their plane for Dallas.

Adams had progressed through the various stages of the protocol through the week, even doing some individual drills in pads during Thursday's practice.
