Chris Harris Doesn't Want Broncos To Draft Quarterback

Apr 25, 2018 8:14 AM

The Denver Broncos are in position to take one of the draft's top quarterbacks, but Chris Harris hopes they focus on other needs.

Denver owns the No. 5 pick in Thursday's first round.

"Someone who's going to come in and play," Harris said when asked of who he wants the team to draft.

"We need someone who's going to come in and play now, so whether that be [Saquon] Barkley, [Bradley] Chubb ... the guard from Notre Dame [Quenton Nelson]. One of those three guys. We know those guys can come in and play right now. Not a quarterback right now, I wouldn't say. We're trying to win now, man. We don't have time to wait."

The Broncos signed Case Keenum in free agency.
