The New York Giants have signed Robert Ayers on a two-year, $4 million contract.

The deal includes $1.75 million in guaranteed money and is loaded with incentives, according to the source.

Ayers was the 18th overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, but had just 12 sacks in five seasons with the Denver Broncos.

Ayers played outside linebacker when the Broncos ran a 3-4 defensive scheme under Josh McDaniels and defensive end in 4-3 alignments.
