Broncos Fear Von Miller May Have Torn ACL

Aug 3, 2014 6:14 AM

Von Miller will undergo an MRI to determine the extent of a knee injury suffered in the Denver Broncos' win over the Houston Texans.

The Broncos fear Miller may have an injury to his MRI, but there is hope that it isn't a tear.

"There's always some concern when your teammate goes down, especially a guy like Von, who's really starting to click now," said Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey. "It's unfortunate, but hopefully it's something minor and something he can come back from real quick."

Peyton Manning: Critics Of Cold Weather Play Can 'Shove It'

Jun 19, 2014 2:01 AM

Peyton Manning, clearly affected by criticism of his performance in cold weather games, threw for 397 yards and four touchdowns in the Denver Broncos' 51-28 win over the Tennessee Titans.

"Whoever wrote that narrative can shove it where the sun don't shine," Manning told Denver radio station 850 KOA following the win, which clinched a playoff berth for the Broncos (11-2). "I felt pretty good out there today."

Manning doesn't believe he is a least effective quarterback in cold weather games, despite a losing record.

The Titans rank 13th in passer rating allowed in the NFL.
