Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has organized his own team workouts with fellow Denver receivers in Jacksonville, according to a league source.
Last week, Tebow flew Broncos wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, Jabar Gaffney and Britt Davis to Jacksonville, put them up in a nearby hotel, and then led a week of workouts in his hometown, according to the source.
Each of the Broncos receivers had hoped to come, the source said, but Eric Decker had another commitment, and Demaryius Thomas (torn Achilles) and Eddie Royal (strained hamstring) were unable to practice at this time due to lingering injuries.

Broncos Won't Trade Orton For Low Draft Picks
The Broncos aren't looking to trade quarterback Kyle Orton and there is still a possibility that he could begin the 2011 season as their starter.
Orton's internal value is high and his $8.5 million contract is relatively low. The rebuilding Broncos are in need of draft picks, but they aren't going to take low selections for the quarterback.
"If the right call comes in and the offer is strong, it will be considered, according to sources. But the idea that a third- or fourth-round pick might get it done is woefully misguided. A high second-round pick that converts to a first-rounder based on production, now that could be a different story," Jason La Canfora of NFL.com writes.
HOFer Little: Only 'Idiots' Would Walk Away From NFL Season
Hall of Fame running back Floyd Little expressed confidence Thursday that the NFL lockout won't impact the season, claiming "someone has to be an absolute idiot to walk away" from $9 billion in annual revenue, but he's concerned about whether a new labor agreement will provide enough financial support for retired players with health issues.
Tebow Joins Broncos' Workouts

Dareus Wants To Make Panthers, Broncos Pay For Passing On Him
Bills rookie defensive lineman Marcell Dareus hopes to get a chance to make the Panthers and Broncos pay for passing on him during last month's NFL Draft.
Dareus was drafted by Buffalo with the third overall pick, but he felt he was a good fit for both Carolina (1st) and Denver (2nd).
"If I ever get a chance to play Carolina I'm going to make them pay for passing up on me," Dareus told Michael Irvin during an interview on WQAM.
"Denver I'll get a chance to play them in the regular season and I'm going to make it hell for them every time I play against them."
Dareus didn't stop there.
"My sole focus was for me not to give you a reason to not pick me and you still don't?" he said. "Okay, I understand you have needs somewhere else, but if you need somebody to control your front and be a commander across the front and not let anything happen? I work my butt off to do that, and you pass me up still? Okay, I've got something for you."
Denver's Cox Pleads Not Guilty To Sexual Assault
Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox has pleaded not guilty to sexual assault charges that carry a maximum punishment of life in prison.
Attorney Harvey A. Steinberg entered Cox's plea Monday during a hearing in Castle Rock, in suburban Douglas County south of Denver.
District Court Judge Paul King set a trial date of Oct. 18, six weeks into the NFL season if the labor dispute and lockout is resolved.
Cox is charged with one count of sexual assault while the victim was physically helpless and one count of sexual assault while the victim was incapable of determining the nature of the conduct.
Quinn In Race To Start For Broncos
Broncos quarterback Brady Quinn will get a chance to win the starting job, according to executive John Elway and coach John Fox.
Much of the talk about Denver's quarterbacks this offseason has been centered about Tim Tebow and Kyle Orton.
Chris Mortensen said on ESPN Radio that Elway and Fox have both told him that Quinn has a real chance of earning the starting job in Denver.
"I can tell you unequivocally that if you talk to John Elway and John Fox," Mortensen said, "they will tell you emphatically that Brady Quinn is absolutely in the mix in terms of the competition for the starting job. They are not handing it to Tim Tebow. They are not handing it to Kyle Orton. They may have a depth chart to start out, but I know in communicating and speaking to both men that Brady Quinn is not forgotten."
Orton Participates In Denver's Workout

The Cardinals have their eye on Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton, according to KHTK-TV in Phoenix.
The TV station cited a team source in reporting that the Cardinals have reached out to the Broncos about the availability of the six-year veteran.

The Cardinals and Broncos haven't had serious discussions, according to the source.
Philadelphia's Kevin Kolb is still first on Arizona's wish list.
Report: Broncos Tried To Trade To Grab Fairley
The Denver Post reported on Friday that the Broncos tried to trade back into the first round of last week's NFL Draft to grab former Auburn defensive tackle Nick Fairley.
The Broncos had already drafted Texas A&M linebacker Von Miller with the second overall pick.
Denver decided against trading up to grab Fairley because it would have cost them too many future draft picks.
The Lions ended up drafting Fairley with the 13th overall pick.
