Broncos' tight end Chad Mustard has a strained leg muscle and will miss eight-to-ten weeks, according to The Denver Post.
The back-up tight end will have surgery on Tuesday to repair the torn hamstring.

Broncos Still Looking To Extend QB Ramsey
The Broncos are continuing to negotiate with quarterback Patrick Ramsey on an extension, according to The Denver Post.
Ramsey, 29, is in the final year of a two-year, $4.5 million contract.
He threw just 48 passes in 2007, completing 29 for 262 yards and one touchdown. He saw almost all of that action in a 44-7 loss to the Lions in Week Nine of last season.
Sauerbrun Pleads Guilty, Takes Swipe At Broncos
Former Broncos' punter Todd Sauerbrun pleaded guilty Wednesday to disturbing the peace last December and was sentenced to perform 24 hours of community service, according to an Associated Press report.
But outside the courtroom, Sauerbrun insisted he is innocent and said he accepted a plea deal with prosecutors only because his record could be cleansed after a year.
He also took a swipe at his former team for cutting him after his arrest, saying, ?I don?t think they did me right.?
Selvin Young's Goal: 2,000 Yards
Selvin Young is hoping to be the number one running back for the Broncos in 2008 and has set a goal of 2,000 yards for himself, according to The Denver Post.
"The key to that to me is staying healthy," said Young. "Everything else, I believe in wholeheartedly. It's not like I said something to try to get a laugh or to smile or to get people to pay attention to me. It's something I believe is in me."
Only five players in NFL history have posted 2,000 rushing yards in a season. Last year, Young rushed for 729 yards on 140 carries in Denver.
Broncos Add Pittman To Running Back Mix
The Broncos added running back Michael Pittman to their roster on Tuesday, according ESPN.com's John Clayton.
Denver has serious concerns about the health of Travis Henry, who had offseason hamstring surgery.
Pittman, 32, is known as a punishing back.

Broncos' QB Jay Cutler has been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, his business manager Marty Garafalo confirmed Thursday night.
Cutler found out about two weeks ago that he was diabetic and needed daily insulin injections, Garafalo told The Associated Press.
He said Cutler was managing his disease, and ?in no way is his football career jeopardized.?
