Jerry Says Julius Not On The Block
Julius Jones is not on the trading block, according to Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones.
With running backs such as Willis McGahee (Buffalo to Baltimore) and Thomas Jones (Chicago to the New York Jets) traded so far in the off-season, Julius Jones' name has been mentioned as the next possible ball carrier to be dealt.
"I don't see that happening," Jerry Jones said. "We have got a team that's going to need some great plays from that position, and I like what we've done there with [Marion] Barber.
"More than likely, unless we have an opportunity in the draft to do something, we'll be going with the running back group we ended the season with. Hopefully we can have [Tyson] Thompson there that could give us a third back."

Dallas Could Trade Julius Jones
The Cowboys aren't exactly shopping running back Julius Jones, but they've told teams that have inquired about him that he's for sale for the right price. Cowboys owner-GM Jerry Jones apparently is prepared to hitch his wagon to the team's other young running back, Marion Barber.
Jones, who rushed for 1,084 yards, had just 65 carries in Dallas' final six regular-season games, but played well in the playoff loss to Seattle, rushing for 112 yards on 22 carries.

Cowboys Sign Davis
Former No. 2 overall pick Leonard Davis became the richest offensive lineman of this year?s free-agent class when he agreed to a seven-year, $49.6 million contract with the Cowboys on Sunday.
The deal eclipses the seven-year, $49.5 million pact that Eric Steinbach received from Cleveland on Friday. The plan for Davis, who spent the first six years of his career with Arizona, is to play either right tackle or right guard for the Cowboys. Dallas is trying to re-sign right tackle Marc Colombo. If the Cowboys do that, Davis will play right guard.
Are Cowboys Close To Adding Davis To Offensive Line?
