"I don't see what he did wrong to warrant him being cut," Owens said Wednesday. "I hope it doesn't come back to haunt us. Whoever made that decision, I'm pretty sure they're hoping the same thing."

Mike Vanderjagt was released by the Dallas Cowboys on Monday and the team signed Martin Gramatica as his replacement.
The Cowboys gave Vanderjagt a $2.5 million bonus as part of a three-year, $5.4 million contract, but he has been either injured or inconsistent throughout the season.

Gossip of a developing relationship between Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson has hit such a frenzy that an Internet gambling site is offering 3-2 odds they will soon be dating.

A longtime coaching friend said that his decision to bench Drew Bledsoe in favor of Tony Romo could be an indicator of his sentiment to coach in 2007.

Report: Cowboys' LB Ellis Out For Season
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Monday on its web site that Cowboys' LB Greg Ellis will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn Achilles tendon in Sunday's 27-10 victory over the Cardinals.
According to the report, Ellis suffered the injury late in the third quarter. The 31-year-old linebacker's career may be over.
Cowboys Cut Coleman After DWI Arrest
The Cowboys cut safety Marcus Coleman on Saturday after he was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
The 32-year-old Coleman was stopped at about 2:40 a.m. for a traffic violation, and there were indications he had been drinking, Irving police said.
Redskins' Moss, Patten Inactive Vs. Cowboys
Washington wide receiver Santana Moss missed the Redskins' game Sunday against the Cowboys with a left hamstring injury.
