Jamaal Anderson has decided to join the Bengals. Anderson, drafted No. 8 overall by the Falcons in the 2007 NFL draft, has 129 tackles and 7.5 sacks over his five-year career. "I'm excited to say I'm starting a new chapter in my career with the Cincinnati Bengals! Shout out to the #WhoDeyNation," Anderson tweeted Friday.

The Falcons have agreed to terms on a new deal with John Abraham, the team's top pass rusher. He led the team with 9 1/2 sacks and has 58 1/2 in six seasons with Atlanta.

The Falcons and former Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu have agreed to a deal. The contract is for two years and has a maximum value of $5.75 million, according to a source.

The Falcons have re-signed reserve running back Jason Snelling. Snelling had 44 carries for 151 yards and 26 catches for 179 yards and one touchdown in 2011 as Michael Turner's backup.

The Falcons have agreed to terms with starting safety Thomas DeCoud. A league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter that DeCoud's deal is for five years with a $17.5 million base package. The Falcons have placed their franchise tag on cornerback Brent Grimes, assuring he will receive more than $10 million if he signs the tender. His agent, Ben Dogra, said the decision was expected.
