Jamaal Anderson has decided to join the Bengals. Anderson, drafted No. 8 overall by the Falcons in the 2007 NFL draft, has 129 tackles and 7.5 sacks over his five-year career. "I'm excited to say I'm starting a new chapter in my career with the Cincinnati Bengals! Shout out to the #WhoDeyNation," Anderson tweeted Friday.

The Falcons have agreed to terms with starting safety Thomas DeCoud. A league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter that DeCoud's deal is for five years with a $17.5 million base package. The defensive back received $4 million in guarantees and $6.25 million in potential bonus dollars. "Thanks for all the congratulations, everyone," DeCoud told his followers on Twitter. "Looking forward to taking my game to the next level and help the falcons take that next step."

The Falcons have placed their franchise tag on cornerback Brent Grimes, assuring he will receive more than $10 million if he signs the tender. His agent, Ben Dogra, said the decision was expected.
