Gonzalez Still Looking For First Playoff Win

Oct 29, 2014 1:00 AM

Tony Gonzalez has put up some huge numbers throughout his career, but he still has yet to win a playoff game. No tight end has caught more passes in NFL history than Gonzalez. He's 0-3 in the playoffs, with all the appearances coming as a member of the Chiefs. "Some guys go their whole careers and never play in the playoffs or win a championship," teammate Michael Turner told Atlanta reporters. "We hope that Tony goes out with one. ..." Turner says he's made a deal with Gonzalez that if the Falcons win the Super Bowl, the tight end has to return and defend the title.

May 17, 2014 1:51 AM

The Falcons earned a first-round bye, but wide receiver Roddy White is still very interested in this weekend's action. If given a choice, White says he'd rather face the Seahawks than the defending-champion Saints, the Packers or Eagles. "You really don't want to play a really consistent quarterback or anything like that," White said. "Does that answer your question?" If the Packers beat the Eagles, Atlanta will host Green Bay. The Philadelphia wins, the Falcons will play the winner of New Orleans-Seattle.
