The Falcons signed veteran running back Aaron Stecker on Tuesday. Stecker, 33, carried the ball a career-high 114 times for the Saints in 2007. Atlanta is apparently concerned about injuries to running back Jerious Norwood and fullback Ovie Mughelli.

Falcons cornerback Brian Williams will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury. Atlanta coach Mike Smith told the Associated Press that Williams tore the anterior cruciate ligament "and some other things" in his right knee against the Bears on Sunday.

Chicago linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa was asked on Monday if he watched Sunday's Falcons-49ers game. "I don't have the (DirecTV) Sunday Ticket," said Tinoisamoa. "I have Comcast."

Roddy White has struggled since signing a six-year, $49 million contract extension. White has been targeted on 26 passes. He has 15 catches for 119 yards (7.9 yards per catch). He averaged 15.7 yards per catch last season and 15.4 over 230 career catches entering this season. "Yeah, it's going to improve," White said. "I just feel like I'm off to a slow start."
