Larry Fitzgerald says new coach Kliff Kingsbury has the Arizona Cardinals playing much faster in offseason practices.

"It's not so much what he's installing that stands out; it's how its run, the tempo of it," Fitzgerald said. "Every single day, with more experience, we were able to run it faster and faster and faster, get more plays in more efficiently. The faster guys understand the concepts the more pressure we can put on defenses."

Fitzgerald is a veteran of 15 seasons, but he's playing under his third coach in three seasons.

"The language is simpler, but you have to process it faster," he said. "In this system, you're on the ball and you don't have an abundance of time to understand what's going on. You have to decipher and be able to play fast."

The Arizona Cardinals selected Jalen Thompson in the fifth round of the NFL supplemental draft.

Thompson was the only player selected.

The Cardinals will lose their fifth round pick in the 2020 draft.
