The Jacksonville Jaguars have officially signed Tim Tebow to a one-year contract, according to a source.

Tebow will be on the field Thursday for the team's offseason program as he sets out to compete for a roster spot.

The 33-year-old hasn't played football since the 2015 NFL preseason and has spent the past six years working as a broadcaster on the SEC Network and working on his professional baseball career.

The deal is non-guaranteed and worth $920,000.

The Houston Texans have signed Jeff Driskel to a one-year deal worth up to $2.5 million.

Driskel is now the fifth quarterback on the Houston roster, joining Deshaun Watson, Tyrod Taylor, Davis Mills and Ryan Finley.

Driskel spent the 2020 season with the Denver Broncos but was released by the team earlier this month.

The New England Patriots have agreed to re-sign Brian Hoyer on a one-year deal. 

Hoyer is in his third stint with the Patriots.

The Patriots previously re-signed Cam Newton and also drafted Mac Jones.

The New York Giants have signed former first-round pick Kelvin Benjamin.

Benjamin has not played in the NFL since 2018. He worked primarily as a tight end at the tryout.

"In terms of Benjamin working a different position [Friday], we're going to work different guys at a variety of things right now," Joe Judge said. "He's a big guy. He's always been a big receiver. He'll work receiver. He's working a little bit flex tight end as well.

"I wouldn't really kind of, you know, pin him down to any one position at this point. We're going to use the weekend to move him around to different spots and see how it works out."

The Green Bay Packers and Blake Bortles have agreed to a one-year contract.

Bortles previously worked with Green Bay offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.

Bortles spent parts of the last two seasons with the Los Angeles Rams and Denver Broncos.

The Jacksonville Jaguars plan on signing Tim Tebow to a one-year deal.

The deal will likely become official in the next week or so.

Tebow hasn't played in the NFL since 2012 with the New York Jets. Tebow participated in training camp and preseason with the New England Patriots in 2013 and with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015.

The Indianapolis Colts have signed Eric Fisher to be their starting left tackle.

Fisher tore his Achilles during the playoffs, but he's expected to return before the start of the season. Fisher was the No. 1 pick in the 2013 draft.

The Colts lost Anthony Castonzo to retirement in January. 

Indianapolis Colts defensive end Kwity Paye has become the first 2021 first-round pick to sign his rookie contract.

The Colts signed five rookies on Thursday.

Paye is set to account for approximately $2.4 million in 2021, per Over The Cap's rookie pool estimations.

The Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with Jason McCourty, according to a source.

Miami also released team captain and starting safety Bobby McCain.

McCain was due a $6.4 million non-guaranteed salary this season.

The Detroit Lions and Frank Ragnow have agreed to a four-year, $54 million extension that makes him the NFL's highest paid center.

Ragnow was a first round pick in 2018.

"He is a foundational piece because Frank is a guy that plays the game the right way," GM Brad Holmes said. "He's everything that we look for and what we want as a Lion."
